Budapest (AP) - Borussia Mönchengladbach's coach Marco Rose has changed his team for the first leg of the first leg in the Champions League against Manchester City on Wednesday evening (9 p.m. / DAZN).
Compared to the starting line-up in the Bundesliga game against FSV Mainz 05 last Saturday, Denis Zakaria has moved into the starting line-up for Valentino Lazaro.
Gladbach's coach has opted for a three-way defense chain with Zakaria and a compact defensive center.
In coach Pep Guardiola's eleven, who have been undefeated for 25 competitive games, there were a total of five changes after the 1-0 win against Arsenal.
Former Wolfsburg Kevin De Bruyne is missing from the starting line-up, as is captain Fernandinho.
Both players come from injury breaks and sit on the bench after their first appearances.
Germany's national player Ilkay Gündogan plays from the start.
