The Hamburg customs have made a record find: In three containers, which should actually be loaded with filler in tin cans, the investigators found a total of more than 16 tons of cocaine.

According to the company, it is the largest single find that has ever been made in Europe.

Further investigations led to Belgium and the seizure of another seven tons of cocaine.

The goods of more than 23 tons would have a sales value of several billion euros.
