Senden (dpa / lby) - A steel plate weighing 800 kilos fell on the foot of a construction worker in Swabia.
"The man was seriously injured in the foot despite wearing safety shoes," said the police on Wednesday.
The plate had come loose from the anchorage of a crane on Tuesday evening in a mechanical engineering company in Senden (Neu-Ulm district).
She fell to the ground from a height of about two meters and then landed on the 42-year-old's foot.
The man came to a hospital.
The Kripo determined the cause of the accident.
