This Wednesday, around 11 am, while he was in overalls in the middle of a field of Carbuccia, about thirty kilometers from Ajaccio, in Corsica, a farmer was shot dead.

The victim was indicted last September for criminal conspiracy to commit a crime of intentional homicide with premeditation in an organized gang in September 2020.

This indictment took place within the framework of an investigation carried out by the specialized interregional jurisdiction (JIRS) of Marseille on the murder of Jean Livrelli, a retiree who was probably killed by mistake in August 2018 in Bastelica (Corse-du-Sud).

Logistical support

This farmer was suspected with three other people of having provided logistical support to the assassins of Jean Livrelli and had been placed under judicial control, said a source familiar with the matter.

In total, nine people were indicted for their involvement to varying degrees in this murder, including Guy Orsoni, an alleged member of Corsican banditry and son of the former nationalist leader Alain Orsoni, indicted in December 2019 for " organized gang assassination ”.
