Inps, on Alitalia n

no delay or non-fulfillment not attributable to us

The INPS denies its responsibility for delays in the payment of salaries or non-fulfillment towards Alitalia.

The Social Security Institute specifies this in a note: "Alitalia is currently a beneficiary of Extraordinary Redundancy Fund, by virtue of ministerial authorization which provides for the payment of the benefit in advance by the Company and subsequently adjusted by the Company with the contributions due to the Institute. For the possible transfer to direct payment of the Cigs by the Institute, the Company knows that the request must be made to the Ministry of Labor. Given that the Institute has not received any updates in this regard, no delay or other type of impedimental will can be attributed to the Institute on the matter ".

Furthermore, "With regard to alleged delays in payments to Alitalia workers by the Institute on the supplementary benefit to be paid by the Air Transport Fund, the Company sent on 12 and 13 February 2021 the useful data for the calculation for the year 2021 , on which the INPS immediately pointed out to the Company, on February 16, some obvious inconsistencies and possible inaccuracies, inviting it to make a correction that would allow the services to be quickly provided, a request further renewed in a technical meeting held yesterday, February 23. correction of the data relates, in particular, to the salary items to which to refer to identify the extent of the services which, by express provision of the interministerial decree governing the matter, must be within the 12 months prior to the request for access to the supplementary service ".
