Munich / Södertälje (dpa) - The Volkswagen commercial vehicle subsidiary Scania gets a new boss.

Christian Levin is coming from the Munich-based VW commercial vehicle holding Traton to the subsidiary brand in Sweden, as the group announced on Tuesday.

The previous Scania boss Henrik Henriksson is leaving the company after 23 years of service and going to the steel manufacturer H2 Green Steel.

Levin was most recently responsible for day-to-day business at Traton and will continue to hold a seat on the Traton board.

He previously held managerial positions at Scania and will take up the position of chief at Sweden on May 1st.

At the Volkswagen subsidiaries there had been many changes in senior management over the past few months.
