February 23, 2021 Golf legend Tiger Woods was hospitalized in critical condition after a car accident near Palos Verdes, an upscale Los Angeles suburb.

Right now he's in the operating room, according to his agent.

He suffered multiple leg injuries.

Mark Steinberg, Tiger's agent, said the champion suffered multiple leg injuries, according to TMZ.

The causes of the accident, which took place at 7.12 am in Los Angeles, are not yet clear.

Woods was traveling alone by car.

The cops are investigating.

It is not the first time that Woods has been involved in a serious car accident: in 2009 he crashed his SUV in Florida.

In 2017, he was arrested after police found him unconscious at the wheel of his car.

Tiger had said he had taken prescription drugs before the accident and hadn't realized the effect they would have on him.
