Peter Vidén is one of the tenants affected by the increase.

He and his wife live in a third of 71 square meters and will receive a gradual rent increase of SEK 2,600.

It will be a rent of just over SEK 8,000, which he believes is too high for a low-income earner.

He also thinks that the information from the landlord has been substandard due to corona and wants the real estate company to rethink.

K-fast has negotiated the new rent with the Tenants' Association and it is set according to the market value, says Mirja Cervin, business area manager at Kfast.

- We will not change the rent, it is right and proper.
