Neuharlingersiel (dpa / lni) - On a campsite in Neuharlingersiel, East Frisia, caravans have again gone up in flames.

People were not injured, as a police spokeswoman said on Tuesday.

The officials assume that this fire was also arson.

The fire on Monday evening completely destroyed two caravans and four more were damaged by the flames.

The police are now looking for witnesses.

The officials have been investigating the series of fires on the permanent parking space in the Wittmund district since January.

Since then, there have been a total of six fires on the square: caravans have burned four times and containers have caught fire twice.

Last Wednesday alone, the fire brigade was called to two caravan fires within a few hours.

The police assume a connection between the fires, but details of the investigation were not given.
