Mittenwald (dpa / lby) - A 30-year-old Munich resident had a fatal accident while hiking through the Upper Bavarian Alps.
According to previous knowledge, the man in the area of the Arzgrube near Mittenwald (Garmisch-Partenkirchen district) crashed over rugged rocky terrain, the police said on Tuesday.
According to his family, the 30-year-old set out on a hike through the Karwendel Mountains on Saturday.
His relatives reported him missing on Monday evening.
Rescue teams from the mountain rescue service and police finally found him dead after a search.
