Quad or motorbike owners throughout the Bas-Rhin department were on their guard.

Nearly 18 of them, between September 2020 and January 2021, saw their device stolen, reports the regional daily

Four men, aged 19 to 31, suspected of being at the origin of about thirty of these vehicles, appeared in court Thursday in Saverne.

The thefts occurred in several towns, from private homes and from garages.

Confused by their cell phone or their DNA, specify our colleagues, they finally received a sentence ranging from four to five years in prison and incarcerated.

One of the defendants, who had participated in only one theft, received a six-month suspended prison sentence.
