Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - After a life-threatening attack on a passenger at the train station in Neu-Anspach (Hochtaunuskreis), the planned verdict at the Frankfurt district court was delayed on Monday.

At the request of the defense, the taking of evidence was re-entered.

Now is to be searched for a young woman with whom one of the alleged main perpetrators is said to have been together at the time.

The latter had said in the process that he did not know her name.

One of his fellow inmates is said to have said that he knew the woman.

The court has scheduled further trial days.

A new date for the pronouncement of the verdict has not yet been set.

The public prosecutor's office had requested that the two main perpetrators, aged 23 and 24, be sentenced to several years' imprisonment for dangerous bodily harm by means of life-threatening treatment.

In November 2019 they are said to have attacked an unknown passenger with a knife, threatened them with a blank gun, and kicked and hit them.

The man was badly injured.

The two alleged main perpetrators are in custody.
