The new recommendations for upper secondary and upper secondary schools state that it is distance education that in practice applies from Monday and the rest of the week, in different ways.

Around Skaraborg, the late message was handled differently.

In Skara, Falköping and Lidköping, among others, students were stopped from coming to the schools on Monday.

In Skövde, another decision was made.

Teaching will not be stopped there until Tuesday.

- There is an understanding from the region that it can take a day to change, says Anders Karlsson, chairman of the children and education committee in Skövde.

However, there is a concern that students who have had a sports holiday and may have been skiing and risked being infected will come in and meet other students on Monday.

- Time will tell, says Anders Karlsson.

Criticism of foresight

In Skaraborg, like many other cities in Västra Götaland, however, there is criticism of the rapidly imposing stricter restrictions.

- I can share the criticism against both national and regional level that they did not come up with it until Sunday evening when the sports holiday is coming to an end, says Anders Karlsson, chairman of the children and education committee in Skövde.
