A 15-year-old got behind the wheel of his father's car - and streamed the journey live on Instagram.

Since the teen did not have a driver's license, the Instagram campaign was not a smart idea: A “spectator” informed the police, and officials stopped the 15-year-old's drive in Norderstedt in the Segeberg district.

As the police announced on Monday, the young person is said to have been driving a Renault Twingo on Friday around 7.30 p.m. in Norderstedt (Schleswig-Holstein) when he apparently decided to stream his journey via an Instagram account.

What he probably didn't expect was the reaction of a "bystander" who turned to the police.

The crew of a patrol car was able to stop the teen at a subway station and secure both the vehicle and the car keys.

According to the police, the boy's father is now being investigated for allowing driving without a license, and the son for driving without a license.
