Lüneburg (dpa / lni) - In the dispute over the costs of a corona-related canceled wedding celebration in the Celle area, no agreement was reached before the Lüneburg district court.

As a spokeswoman announced on Monday, the court will announce a decision on May 3rd.

The plaintiff in the civil proceedings demands the payment of a room rent of 6,000 euros for the planned event.

The premises were rented for a celebration on August 8, 2020 for around 120 people.

Due to the Lower Saxony Corona Ordinance in force at the time, private celebrations with guests were only allowed up to a maximum of 50 people.

The defendants then terminated the contract concluded with the plaintiff and refused to pay the agreed rent.

Both parties can now express themselves again in writing.
