Überlingen (dpa / lsw) - A 34-year-old and a 14-year-old were seriously injured in a diving accident in Lake Constance.
The two had sunk to a depth of more than 60 meters on Saturday before Überlingen for an unexplained cause, the police said on Sunday.
After that, the man and the young person are said to have initiated an uncontrolled emergency ascent.
They had reached the bank themselves and were then supplied with oxygen and first aid by officers from the waterway police.
The seriously injured were then taken to hospitals.
The police are investigating.
