Rome, closures in the center and anti-gathering controls

February 21, 2021 The spring sun filled the streets of the center of Rome.

The agents of the local police of Roma Capitale intervened in the afternoon to contain the influx of people.

Closed via del Corso, Ripetta and del Babuino.

Numerous interventions also in the main parks and historic villas of the capital.

In this weekend 5 thousand investigations and 60 fines were made.

Pay special attention to the shopping streets, the Ostia seafront, the nightlife spots, including the Rione Monti, the historic center, Testaccio, Pigneto, Ponte Milvio, San Lorenzo and Piazza Bologna.

The fines were triggered for gatherings, irregular consumption of alcohol on the road and, in some cases, for not wearing masks.

In Trastevere and in the Ostiense area, the managers of 5 public places were sanctioned and warned because they sold food and alcoholic drinks well beyond the allowed hours.
