The infection rate is falling there, however, at the beginning of the week it was 254 cases per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days.

The city of Osnabrück (133.1 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in one week), the Hanover region (125.5) and the districts of Peine (125.4) and Vechta (121.8) are currently also severely affected.

Despite the strict lockdown, the number of new infections has risen again for all of Germany.

That is 1562 more than on Sunday a week ago.
