Dortmund (AP) - Malaika Mihambo is the focus of the second day at the German indoor championships for athletes in Dortmund.
The long jump world champion and “Sportswoman of the Year” of 2019 and 2020 is hoping for the first seven-meter jump this winter this Sunday.
With 6.77 meters, Mihambo is currently in second place in the world best list behind the Swede Khaddi Sagnia (6.82).
The 27-year-old from LG Kurpfalz is the clear favorite and can win her fourth title in a row.
The Rudolf-Körnig-Halle is also about the tickets for the European Championships from March 4th to 7th in Torun / Poland.
The event takes place during the corona pandemic under strict hygiene measures and without spectators.
