Ajman Criminal Court has ruled that a servant recruitment office must pay 21,000 dirhams to a citizen of the Emirate of Fujairah, the price of recruitment fees for a maid who escaped, during the trial period, and ruled to terminate the contract between the two parties.

In detail, a citizen from the Emirate of Fujairah filed a lawsuit against a servant recruitment office, in which he demanded a fine of 21,000 dirhams for smuggling his maid, and to refrain from taking her back, under the pretext that she did not want to work for him, indicating that he was surprised by the presence of his fugitive maid in the same office that he brought from Only two months, confirming that the office promised him to return his money in full, and he did not do so.

The citizen's client, lawyer Amira Al-Suridi, indicated

Until her client contracted with the defendant to bring a maid for 21,000 dirhams, but she refused to work after more than two months from the start of the service contract according to the fixed receipt of the defendant, and the defendant was legally obligated according to the fixed texts to return 21,000 dirhams to her client In exchange for the maid abstaining during her guarantee period.

The court ruled to terminate the contract between the two parties, obligating the defendant's recruitment office to refund the plaintiff's recruitment fees of 21,000 dirhams, and obliging the defendant to court fees, and 500 dirhams for attorney fees.
