Yououtubers McFly and Carlito, challenged by Emmanuel Macron to make a video on the importance of barrier gestures and to reach ten million views, were on track, Sunday, to meet the goal.

As a result, the president promised them to invite them to "shoot at the Élysée".

YouTube stars McFly & Carlito were on track Sunday to meet the challenge of President Emmanuel Macron, who invited them to make a video on the importance of barrier gestures and promised to invite them to "shoot at the Élysée "if they hit 10 million views.

Over 4 million views on Sunday, top of the trends

The two YouTubers responded to this "challenge" of the president by publishing Sunday morning "I remember", a clip in the form of a ballad, on a guitar tune, in which they invite Internet users to apply barrier gestures to regain their life before Covid-19.

The clip, which opens with a sequence in which YouTubers announce that the president has agreed to participate in an "anecdotes contest" if they meet his challenge, is on track to meet the goal set by Emmanuel Macron.

Sunday evening, it already totaled more than 4 million views on YouTube and was at the top of the trends in France on Google's video platform.

The song was also published on the main music streaming sites and the two videographers pledged to donate the proceeds to Agoraé, a network of solidarity grocery stores for students.
