Berlin (dpa / bb) - After the 7-day incidence in Berlin has largely stagnated in the past few days, the Corona value rose slightly on Sunday.
At the end of the weekend, the incidence in the capital was 56.6 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in 7 days, according to the current situation report by the Senate Department for Health.
On Saturday and Friday, the value was still 54.9.
After the value had fallen significantly in the past few weeks, the trend recently reversed.
The corresponding Corona traffic light remains on red. It would only jump to yellow from a value of 30, and to green from 20.
73 newly infected people were registered in Berlin on Sunday.
The number of cases rose to 126,898. Another person died from or with the virus.
Seven dead were counted on Saturday.
The number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic rose to 2,728 in Berlin.

The corona traffic light continues to show yellow for the proportion of intensive care beds occupied by Covid 19 patients: it is currently 20.7 percent.
The threshold for a red traffic light signal is 25 percent.
