Chemnitz (dpa / sn) - After a mission because of disturbance of the peace in Chemnitz, a family made serious allegations against the police.

A 34-year-old woman and her husband said they were victims of police violence after the operation.

In the meantime, investigations have been initiated at the Chemnitz Police Department on suspicion of bodily harm, as a spokeswoman said on Saturday.

The MDR had previously reported.

According to the police, the officers were alerted twice by neighbors about noise pollution at the end of January.

During the second deployment that night, the woman was heavily drunk, very upset and not cooperative.

Therefore, she was fixed and taken to the police station.

Because the woman complained of pain in her wrists, she was taken to hospital.

After outpatient treatment, she was released a little later, the police spokeswoman explained.

In the MDR report, the woman said she was brutally handcuffed and had to strip naked in the presence of male officials during the search.

Her husband said that the officers kicked him several times in the foot when he wanted to accompany his wife.

The next day a doctor diagnosed a fracture in the foot that had to be treated surgically.
