It is stated that there are 7-8 individuals in the herd who wander around the area by Lake Grycken.
Wild mouflon sheep are usually found in Småland, Södermanland, the Stockholm archipelago and on the west coast.
That they show up in Grycksbo is unlikely.
- I was lucky to be able to take photos of them, it was a highlight, says Tomas Andersson.
Improbable escape
In Dalarna there are two game hangars with mouflon sheep, one in Enviken and the other in Björsbogård.
That the animals would have escaped from the pendants is considered unlikely.
"Never thought I would see them"
Tomas is often out in nature to photograph animals.
- I have been jealous of my friends to the south who have taken pictures of these nice animals.
I never thought I would see them here.
