South of Misrata, not far from the airport.

100,000 m2 of land owned by Karanfil Construction.

Sinan Kaya is its president.

“We have been in Libya for a short time.

So to show what we know how to do, we have invested in this field,

 explains the engineer.

On this immense land which he operates with a Libyan partner, Sinan Kaya is considering many projects.

They are building a precast concrete plant for all kinds of construction and a concrete plant.

We also have a project for the production of asphalt.

The factory is nearing completion, we are just waiting for a final load from Turkey.

We also presented an airport project to our Misratis partners.

They liked it, we'll see

.

"

The challenge for this company is for everything to be produced on site in order to be as competitive as possible.

Airport, factories, shopping centers, logistics centers on the port, Turkish companies are hungry.

They were already there before the fall of Muammar Gaddafi.

Officially, businesses from all nations are welcome to participate in the reconstruction.

In reality, Turkish companies are ahead of the game.

Turkey, after its military engagement alongside the Government of National Unity in Tripoli, fully intends to reap the fruits of this support.

“Relations between our two nations are old

,” recalls Sinan Kaya.

Regardless of politics, trade has never ceased between us, even during wars

.

The needs are immense in any case.

After the fighting, everything has to be rebuilt.
