Osaka has won its three Grand Slam finals so far.

“My attitude is that people don't remember the finalists,” the 23-year-old explained this result.

«The name of the winner is the one that will be remembered.

I think I fight the most in the final. "

Brady reached the final of one of the four major tennis tournaments for the first time.

Most recently, the two faced each other at the US Open in New York last year.

In the semifinals, the eventual tournament winner Osaka prevailed in three sets.

"I think with the confidence from the match I played against Naomi in the semifinals, maybe my life changed and my perspective on how I approach my appearances at the Grand Slams," said Brady.

The 25-year-old is being looked after by the German trainer Michael Geserer, Julia Görges' former coach.
