Zwickau (AP) - Dynamo Dresden has sovereignly won the Saxony duel of the 3rd soccer league.

The team of coach Markus Kauczinski celebrated a 2-0 (2-0) victory at FSV Zwickau on Saturday.

Pascal Sohm (38th minute) and Christoph Daferner (45th + 2 / hand penalty) scored the goals.

With 47 points, Dresden continues to lead the table, the FSV is placed in the middle with 29 points.

The game, for which 16,825 “ghost tickets” were sold, was overshadowed by a serious foot injury to Yannik Möker from Zwickau.

The midfielder was replaced in the 18th minute and then taken to a hospital for further examinations.

Dynamo was the more dangerous team right from the start and had good opportunities through Julius Kade (12th) and Daferner (29th) in the first half hour, which FSV goalkeeper Johannes Brinkies fended off.

In the 38th minute, Sohm headed a corner from Paul Will to the deserved 0: 1.

A few moments before the break, referee Patrick Kessel decided on a hand penalty for the guests after Zwickau's central defender Steffen Nkansah had the ball from close range on his arm.

Daferner converted the penalty with a shot in the middle of the goal to 2-0.

In the second half, the Kauczinski team managed its leadership with ease.

The FSV remained harmless offensively and only got one chance.

Substitute Maximilian Wolfram shot just over the goal in the 85th minute.
