In addition, the Democratic Party confirmed its willingness to deal with the bill by welcoming the passage of the National Territorial Commission yesterday (19th) of the'Gadeokdo New Airport Special Act'.



Representative Lee Nak-yeon posted a post on social media, saying, "The history of Boulgyeong (Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam) is changing. Gadeokdo New Airport is finally in sight," and gave meaning to the passage of the National Territorial Commission under the Special Law.



Representative Lee said, "(Special Act) stipulated exemption from pre-tapping and simplified pre-feasibility studies. We will open the airport before the 2030 Busan Expo. Thank you to President Moon Jae-in and all those who helped."



In an oral commentary, chief spokesman Choi In-ho, Saha Gap-i district of Busan, said in an oral commentary, "We welcome the successive resolution of the National Land Commission. We will do our best to collect Booul-kyung's aspirations until the end of the plenary meeting on the 26th."



Busan mayoral candidate Kim Young-chun wrote on social media, "Gadeokdo New Airport has finally begun to break out," and "I have lost a whopping 10 years under the power of the people. Now, I will make it a'one year to recover'."



Candidate Kim said, "We have kept the core contents that the citizens of Busan were worried about. We have included exemption from pre-tapping and the establishment of the'New Airport Construction Promotion Group' by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and even included the declaration of declaring the new airport in Gimhae. I will bring my dream back to life."
