New York police arrested the suspect in a day, but did not apply the hate crime charges.



On the same day, in New York City alone, three incidents of assaults against Asians followed, and antipathy against Asians such as China, which was pointed to as the epicenter of the prolonged Corona 19, is leading to hate crimes.
