Wanfried (dpa / lhe) - Two residents were injured in a house fire in Wanfried (Werra-Meißner district).
The two were able to save themselves from the burning half-timbered house on Friday night, the police said.
The 78-year-old and her 54-year-old daughter were treated by an emergency doctor for smoke poisoning.
During the night the fire brigade was still busy extinguishing the fire.
The house was in "full fire," said the police.
The damage was initially estimated at 100,000 euros.
The cause of the fire was unclear.
