The Taipei Main Station was reported with Huawei equipment, and the green camp on the island was hopeless

  [Cross-Strait Quick Review No. 1222]

According to Taiwanese media reports, some green campers said that they received reports from the people of Taipei Main Station using Huawei equipment.

The person also said, "This device is a WiFi device. If people use this WiFi to browse the web, they may be exposed to privacy by Huawei."

Taiwan Railways responded on the 17th that the relevant equipment is a stand-alone electronic bulletin board, which only announces the use of information. The router has been removed on the 14th, and the current screen equipment is out of service.

Regarding the abandonment of Huawei equipment after the Taipei Main Station was reported, some netizens on the island said, "Taiwan is really over! Everything is up to the security issue!" Some netizens sarcastically, "iPhones are also mostly made in the mainland, so please disable it! "Taiwan's high-speed rail also uses mainland parts, why not dismantle it?"

Of course, we have already taken no surprises for the green camp on the island's "every land must be countered".

Prior to this, the DPP authorities began to block and block mainland companies such as Huawei, ZTE, iQiyi, Tencent Video, and Taobao Taiwan.

Especially in recent years, the DPP authorities have followed the trend of the Trump administration in the United States and have been making a fuss about Huawei.

In 2019, the DPP authorities used the so-called "information security" as an excuse to ban the use of Huawei products in official business.

Some green campers also continue to criticize and discredit the safety of Huawei products.

In addition, in mid-December last year, Taiwan’s administrative agencies issued a letter requesting public agencies at all levels to replace mainland brand communications products, including hardware, software, and services, before the end of this year.

At the same time, the DPP authorities also require that the "expanded inventory" of communication products be "strictly identified" by the reporting department. All mainland brands, regardless of their origin, must be included in the reporting scope.

In other words, as long as mainland brand communication products, regardless of whether they are manufactured in Taiwan, the mainland or other regions, they must be registered.

Trafficking anxiety and creating rumors are the methods used by the DPP authorities to govern.

Taiwan’s "Lianhe Daily" commented that in the past two years, on the grounds of so-called security, the DPP authorities have become more and more stringent in censorship of land capital. Almost as long as they are in contact with land, they risk being "beheaded" at any time.

Although the DPP authorities tried their best to rule out the mainland's influence on Taiwan, in fact, "connecting with the mainland or even expanding the connection is an irreversible trend."

Green camp politicians keep saying that products made in the mainland have so-called "safety problems." In fact, these are the "guilt-mindedness" and slander of a few "Taiwan independence" elements on the island.

Taiwan's "China Times Electronic News" once pointed out that the more negative energy across the strait accumulates, the higher the risks Taiwan will face in the future. When the island’s economy was in a downturn, the DPP authorities stood on the opposite side of the people on the island, blatantly violated economic laws and market principles, and continued to hunt down powerful mainland capital, ultimately hurting Taiwan’s economy and the interests of the people.
