Leipzig (dpa / sn) - At the weekend, people in Saxony can put their winter coats away first.
"The weather has already rotated 180 degrees over the last few days - this rotation will now be perfect for the weekend," said a spokesman for the German Weather Service (DWD).
After snow and minus degrees in the double-digit range, a very mild phase is on the horizon.
On Friday you can only expect some rain in the morning in East Saxony.
During the day it should remain dry across the country, with an interplay of sun and clouds and maximum temperatures of up to 12 degrees.
Saturday is expected to be even friendlier with up to 16 degrees and mostly sunshine.
Finally, Sunday should go one better: Then the temperatures could even reach 18 degrees in spring.
But one thing has to be considered, as the spokesman for the DWD said: While the days are getting warmer, the nights can be quite cold.
Especially in valleys and depressions, and especially in eastern Saxony, a slight frost is expected at night.
But smoothness is no longer to be expected.
