19 February 2021 Extraordinary duet in the final evening of Sanremo 2021 edition. Ornella Vanoni and Francesco Gabbani will be together on the Ariston stage for the grand finale of the Festival.
A few days after the announcement of Ornella Vanoni as guest of the 71st edition of the Sanremo Festival, it was announced that the great interpreter will perform together with Francesco Gabbani on Saturday 6 March.
The two artists will participate together in an exciting performance of "A smile inside the cry", the song composed by the songwriter and the first single extracted from '' Unica '', the new album by Ornella Vanoni released on January 29th for BMG.
"A smile inside the cry", of which Gabbani signs the music and - with Pacifico and Ornella Vanoni - also the lyrics, was released as a single on January 8, 2021 and is still among the most aired songs on the radio.
The Sanremo Festival will be held from 2 to 6 March and will be directed and conducted for the second consecutive year by Amadeus, who is also its artistic director.
During the singing evenings he will be joined by Fiorello.
The competition will have two main categories of competitors: a Champions category and a New Proposals category.
In the first, 26 singers will participate in the competition, while the New Proposals have 8 competitors.
