Palamara appeals to the Supreme Court against his removal from the judiciary

February 19, 2021 The former president of the ANM Luca Palamara presented through his legal appeal to the joint sections of the Cassation against the expulsion from the judiciary decreed by the disciplinary section of the CSM upon admission of the requested witnesses.

His lawyer Roberto Rampioni gave the news. 

Eight reasons for appeal developed by the defense of Palamara in about 90 pages accompanied by numerous attachments.

Among the main complaints is the assimilation of the disciplinary offense committed by a magistrate to that of a taxi driver who in the exercise of his duties commits a road accident, an assimilation defined by the unlikely defense and contrary to the most elementary principles of legal logic.

Furthermore, the defense challenges Davigo's failure to challenge and the violation of the European Court of Human Rights legislation on due process for failure to admit the requested witnesses.
