do not meet others and you will see later when you leave a test on Monday if it is covid-19 or not, says Åke Tenerz medical chief of staff Region Västmanland.
According to the region, it has a good sampling capacity and follows the development of the infection in order to reduce or increase the capacity if necessary.
At present, 12,000 samples can be taken and analyzed every week in Västmanland.
Another 115 samples can be analyzed on Saturdays from samples taken via pharmacies.
According to Åke Tenerz, the utilization rate is currently around half of the capacity.
Not taking samples on the weekends is not a question of resources.
- It is not a question of resources for the Region because the samples are paid for by the Public Health Agency, so it has nothing to do with the region's finances, but it is to generally manage funds and we still think that these work, says Åke Tenerz
