19 February 2021 With the hearing of the current Minister of the Interior Luciana Lamorgese, the new preliminary hearing - the third - of the Gregoretti case began in Catania, in the bunker room of the Bicocca prison, the judicial procedure that could bring the leader of the League and former Minister of the Interior Matteo Salvini on trial.

Kidnapping and abuse in official acts are the charges, which may have to answer.

Salvini is assisted by the lawyer Giulia Bongiorno.

In Catania, at the request of the investigating magistrate Nunzio Sarpietro, Luigi Di Maio, deputy premier at the time and minister of labor and the current owner of the Interior, Luciana Lamorgese, will also be present today.
