Karlsruhe (dpa / lsw) - Coach Christian Eichner from Karlsruher SC were not surprised by the complicated match plan explanations by his Nuremberg colleague Robert Klauss.

Before the direct duel between the two second division teams on Sunday (1.30 p.m. / Sky), Karlsruhe's coach was rather happy about the diversity of the football language.

“I think it's great that there are different types and different languages.

Everyone has to decide for themselves what suits my team, ”said Eichner on Friday.

«That was the somewhat more modern language.

But there is also the traditional language.

Both have their place. "

Klauss had recently explained his game plan after FCN's 2-1 draw against FC St. Pauli when asked by a journalist at the press conference.

Among other things, Klauss spoke of “pressing line one” and an “asymmetrical left-back”.

Many fans may not have understood Klauss.

Eichner, on the other hand, knew what the 36-year-old wanted to express.

“Yes, I understood him logically.

Also because I've heard this language one time or another in advance, ”said the 38-year-old KSC coach.

"Those are certainly words that are commonplace in Nuremberg."

Regardless of the Franconian match schedule, the KSC wants to continue its winning streak of currently eight games in a row without losing to the FCN.

Eichner has to do without the U21 national player Dominik Kother, who has tonsillitis.

The coach left it open whether winter newcomer Kevin Wimmer or the recovered Philip Heise would appear as a left-back.
