In the clip, Karl Magnusson tells what the couple has to sacrifice in order to pay five million in legal costs to Jaguar.

Karl Magnusson has spent nine years of his life building the Jaguar replica.

All so that the result would be as similar to the original as possible.

Replicas of old cars are a giant industry around the world.

They are in the hundreds of thousands and the hobby is shared by enthusiasts all over the world.

He and his wife both have a past in the car industry and thus knowledge and feelings that beat most.

The ambitions were so high that on a number of occasions they met with representatives of Jaguar and discussed a possible collaboration.

"I do not know what is happening now"

Calls that then turned into a warning email where Jaguar demanded that the car be destroyed.

Shortly afterwards, a lawsuit for copyright infringement steamed down the mailbox.

In mid-December, the ruling came from the Patent and Market Court.

The Magnussons were found guilty of copyright infringement, as Göteborgs-Posten first reported.

Jaguar Land Rover believes that the couple Magnusson and their company Creare did not create the car copy for private use, which the court also states.

The couple will pay legal costs to Jaguar Land Rover of almost five million kronor.

In addition, they have to destroy the car.

- I do not know what is happening now, says Karl Magnusson.

Unique dom

According to the verdict, the couple Magnusson is not allowed to show the car in public.

With this in mind and the restrictions that exist in Swedish copyright, SVT Nyheter Väst chooses to only publish pictures of the car that has been submitted as evidence in the case.

The verdict against the couple is unique in Sweden.

It has been appealed and there is much to suggest that the Court of Appeal will take up the case this autumn.
