The letter signed by the executive director of the union, Dmitry Vostrikov, was sent to the head of the service, Maxim Shaskolsky.

Packaging manufacturers claim that they themselves are seriously affected by the rise in prices for raw materials, including due to the suspension of a number of industries during a pandemic.

According to RIA Novosti, Dmitry Leonov, deputy chairman of the board of Rusprodsoyuz, explained that packaging takes about 30% of the cost in the share of food production.

And its rise in price will lead to higher prices.
