Potsdam (dpa / bb) - The corona investigation committee in the Brandenburg state parliament will meet for its second evidence on Friday.

Starting at 10:00 a.m., it will deal with the consequences of the corona pandemic and the crisis policy of the red-black-green state government on the economy in Brandenburg.

The head of the financial investigation group of the police and customs, André Trostorff, the head of the development bank ILB, Tillmann Stenger, and the deputy chief public prosecutor of the Potsdam public prosecutor's office, Thomas Meyer, are expected as witnesses.

The AfD parliamentary group had enforced the body.

She wants to question whether the interventions of the crisis policy were proportionate and have helped to limit the spread of the coronavirus.

However, it is only about the period up to September 2020. The other groups are opposed to the committee.

The committee of inquiry is so far the only one of its kind in a state parliament in Germany.
