Dusseldorf (dpa) - After winning the Champions League and the German Cup, record champions Borussia Dusseldorf are also in the table tennis Bundesliga prematurely as the top of the table in the main round.
Timo Boll's team won 3-0 at TTC Zugbrücke Grenzau on Friday evening and now has eight points ahead of defending champions 1. FC Saarbrücken with three game days to go.
Boll was spared in Grenzau, the points went to the two Swedes Kristian Karlsson and Anton Källberg and Ricardo Walther.
The first four of the table qualify for the playoff semi-finals after the end of the main round.
