Hamburg (dpa / lno) - Dortmund's youngster beach volleyball player Svenja Müller is moving to the Eimsbütteler Turnverband (ETV) in Hamburg.

The 20-year-old will form a duo with Cinja Tillmann (DJK TuSA 06 Düsseldorf), number seven in the German individual rankings.

Both will train at the Olympic base in Hamburg.

The ETV announced on Friday.

The 1.93 meter tall Müller, who moved her center of life to the Hanseatic city, is rated as one of the greatest German beach volleyball talents.

The U18 European champion from 2018, fourth in the U21 World Cup in 2019 and fifth in the U22 European Championship last year, wants to go to the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024.

In return, she ended her career in the hall as an outside attacker at third division TV Hörde last summer.

"Svenja has great prerequisites for a successful beach volleyball career," said ETV chairman Frank Fechner.

The beach volleyball vice world champions of 2019, Julius Thole and Clemens Wickler, are already playing at ETV.

The duo are qualified for the Tokyo Olympics this summer.
