It was on November 12 that the injured man was discovered by passers-by in the middle of central Ronneby.

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries and the suspect, who is in his 35s, was arrested the same day.

Arrested for probable cause

He has since been detained on probable cause on suspicion of attempted murder and today the prosecution was brought by prosecutor Love Lundin.

He claims in the alternative a serious assault.

The suspect has always denied the crime, and says that he has acted in self-defense.
