The National Police of Ourense arrested a neighbor of Ourense last morning for allegedly stabbing his neighbor, just 22 years old, and causing serious injuries to her boyfriend, 25.
As reported by the city's National Police, the detainee is a neighbor and relative of the victims and was detained at his own home shortly after the events.
The events occurred around five in the morning.
The National Police received a distress call in which they stated that a person had been stabbed in the Velle area, in the city of Ourense, and Citizen Security agents went to the home.
Inside the house, the agents located the body of a 22-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man still alive but seriously injured.
The medical services were transferred to the place and the man was referred in an ambulance to the University Hospital Complex of Ourense (CHUO), where he remains in serious condition, although police sources confirm that he is "evolving favorably."
The alleged murderer was at his home and, after conducting a search there, the police officers located the weapon allegedly used in the attack, so he was arrested.
The UDEV group of the Provincial Police Station of the National Police of Ourense continues to investigate the events to clarify the circumstances surrounding them.
For now, no hypothesis is ruled out.
