This was reported by the press service of the North-West Transport Prosecutor's Office.

"The St. Petersburg Transport Prosecutor's Office monitors the observance of the rights of 332 passengers on the fact of a long delay of the St. Petersburg - Zanzibar flight," the department said.

According to preliminary information, the flight was delayed due to a technical malfunction of the Boeing 767 aircraft.

It is noted that an employee of the prosecutor's office left for Pulkovo airport to control the departure of the reserve aircraft and receive requests from passengers.

In January, the St. Petersburg Transport Prosecutor's Office organized an investigation into the return of an aircraft flying to Moscow to Pulkovo Airport due to a technical malfunction.
