A snowfall pulls in over southern Sweden during Thursday afternoon.
The snowfall is then expected to turn completely or partially into rain, which means that there is a risk that it will freeze to ice, as the roads are cold.
Freezing rain can also occur locally, according to SMHI: forecast.
Goes out with warning
SMHI warns of ice skating from Friday night in Västra Götaland County, Stockholm County, Södermanland County, Uppsala County, Värmland County, Gävleborg County, Västmanland County, Dalarna County and Örebro County.
The warnings are valid until Friday morning.
Already on Thursday, there has been difficult road conditions in several places in western Sweden, including wet snow ice.
