According to TASS, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense, Deputy Defense Minister of Russia Colonel-General Alexander Fomin met with the head of the Department of International Military Cooperation - Assistant Minister of Defense of Belarus for International Military Cooperation, Major General Oleg Voinov.

“During the meeting, topical issues of military cooperation and bilateral cooperation in the field of defense were discussed, a roadmap for the development of military cooperation in the near future was agreed upon,” the ministry said.

Earlier it was reported that the head of the Department of International Military Cooperation of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus - Assistant to the Minister of Defense for International Military Cooperation Oleg Voinov proposed to "freeze" the increase in military spending in the OSCE region to reduce tension between the countries.
