Hanover (dpa / lni) - A 36-year-old man died in his apartment after a fire with heavy smoke development.
According to their own statements, the police are currently assuming a “tragic accident”.
The man was found lifeless in his bed on Wednesday in his apartment in an apartment building in Hanover.
Apparently there was a fire or a deflagration there before, the police said on Thursday.
It is possible that kitchen utensils caught fire on a stove that was not switched off.
Poisonous smoke gases were created.
The fire went out by itself due to a lack of oxygen because the window and door were closed.
