But who is so mad at Lidl?

The explosion of a letter bomb injured three people working in an administrative center of the German distribution giant on Wednesday, police and the company said.

Two people were "slightly injured" and the third "quite seriously" in the explosion which took place in the afternoon at the Neckarsulm site, near Stuttgart, in southwestern Germany.

Rescuers and a helicopter were deployed, while the police had to evacuate a hundred employees of the discount specialist.

"We are shocked"

"In the current state of the investigation it is a letter sent by post which exploded in the building", underlined the police force, without providing further details.

"We are shocked by what has happened and wish our employees a speedy recovery," the company told the German press agency Dpa in the evening.
