After organizing nine key populations to be vaccinated against the new coronavirus, Beijing began to build an immune barrier against the new coronavirus on a larger scale.

During the Spring Festival, all districts in Beijing have set up vaccination points to continue vaccination. Starting from February 17, many districts have opened more vaccination points, and the vaccination capacity has been greatly improved.

Unlike the vaccinations for nine key populations that started in January, the population covered by this vaccination is residents aged 18-59 years old in each district, that is, mass vaccinations for suitable populations.

Vaccination is free and follows the principles of voluntary, informed and consent.

Basically complete inoculation of key populations in multiple districts

According to Beijing's vaccination schedule announced on December 31, 2020, Beijing's new crown vaccination is divided into two steps: emergency vaccination of nine key populations will be completed before the Spring Festival in 2021; according to the national deployment and vaccine approval and supply status, After the Spring Festival in 2021, we will organize vaccination work for other populations.

As of January 14, Beijing had vaccinated 1.5 million people.

Chaoyang District dispatched more than 7,000 people to coordinate the promotion of new crown virus vaccination for key populations, and opened more than 40 vaccination points according to the fixed + mobile model.

As of noon on January 15, the first vaccinations of 200,000 people in the first batch of nine types of key populations in Chaoyang District have been completed. With the addition of about 100,000 other populations, a total of 305,026 people have been vaccinated.

Up to now, many districts in Beijing have stated that they have basically completed the vaccination of nine key populations.

In this case, Beijing has expanded the scope of vaccination to a wider population.

On February 9, the Beijing Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention announced the vaccination site information and contact numbers during the Spring Festival, reminding citizens to arrange vaccination in an orderly manner according to the organization of the unit or community.

The schedule shows that during the Spring Festival period, Beijing’s 16 districts and the Economic and Technological Development Zone have daily vaccination sites. The number of people planned to be vaccinated every day in each district ranges from 10 to 50 people, and as many as 10,000 people.

Mass vaccinated populations are residents of the right age

In early February, various districts in Beijing successively issued new crown vaccination notices.

According to the notice, the population of this vaccination is 18-59-year-old residents in each district. The vaccination follows the principles of voluntary, informed, and consent, and is free.

The notice explained the effect of vaccination.

For example, the Shunyi District stated in the notice: The use of the new coronavirus inactivated vaccine in this vaccination can stimulate the body to produce immunity against the new coronavirus and be used to prevent diseases caused by the new coronavirus.

A total of 2 shots of the new crown vaccine were given, and the interval between the two doses was not less than 14 days.

28 days after the entire vaccination, more than 90% of the recipients will develop antibodies, and the protective effect is obvious.

While publishing the vaccination notice through the media, each district has widely publicized vaccination-related matters through various neighborhoods and villages.

For example, from February 1st, Tongzhou District has organized communities and villages to use the “phone + door-to-door” approach, register all members of the 18-59 year-old population, and help those eligible for vaccination make appointments for vaccination.

The Tongzhou District Health Commission has also developed the Tongzhou vaccination appointment platform system, where vaccinators can scan the QR code issued by the village and community to make an online appointment.

In Chaoyang District, some residents saw the QR code posted by the community and received a call from the staff of the neighborhood committee.

In early February, Ms. Chen, who lives in the Leading International Community in Dongcheng District, made an appointment for the vaccination after consulting the community, and received the first injection on February 10.

According to the vaccination schedule of the Beijing Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, starting from the third day of the third day, the number of planned vaccination in many districts began to increase on a large scale, and reached a peak on the last day of the holiday.

For example, on February 17, all 17 vaccination sites in Dongcheng District were opened and 12774 people were planned to be vaccinated; 7 vaccination sites were opened in Haidian District, and 8000 people were planned to be vaccinated; 23 vaccinations were opened in Daxing District, and 6000-8000 people were planned to be vaccinated.

According to the schedule, Tongzhou District will open 17 vaccination sites on February 17, planning to vaccinate 8,000 people.

However, the Tongzhou District Health Commission stated on February 16 that from the next day, 17 vaccination sites will be opened and the daily vaccination capacity can reach 20,000.

According to the schedule, only one vaccination site will be opened in Xicheng District on February 17, and 100 people are planned to be vaccinated.

However, on the same day, large-scale population vaccination was launched in 15 streets of Xicheng. A total of 16 vaccination spots and 50 vaccination stations were opened in the district. It is estimated that 10,164 people can be vaccinated throughout the day.

According to the official WeChat account of Xicheng in Beijing, after the Spring Festival, Xicheng District will gradually open all vaccination sites in an orderly manner, continuously enhance vaccination capacity, and make every effort to vaccinate large-scale populations.

Starting on the 18th, all vaccination sites in Dongcheng District will resume normal services.

Chaoyang District has successively opened qualified vaccination sites to ensure the orderly progress of large-scale vaccination.

Tongzhou Fengtai Pinggu and other clear timetable

Many districts in Beijing have clarified the timetable for the new crown vaccination.

The relevant person in charge of the Tongzhou District Health Commission revealed on February 16 that it is expected that in May, Tongzhou will complete the vaccination of about 1 million key populations aged 18-59, and carry out replanting work in the later period.

According to Liu Wanying, secretary and director of the Party Committee of the Fengtai District Health Commission, this round of large-scale vaccination in Fengtai District is expected to take 100 days, that is, the entire district's large-scale vaccination can be completed by the end of May.

Prior to this, Fengtai District had basically completed the vaccination of 9 key populations, with a total of 269,000 doses of vaccination, and no serious adverse reactions occurred.

Liu Wanying also introduced that for large-scale vaccination, Fengtai District has set up a temporary vaccination site in 21 streets and towns in the district to facilitate residents' nearby vaccination. At the same time, a large-scale district-level temporary vaccination site has been set up to meet the needs of the district. Inoculation organized by various units within the country.

According to the news released by the Pinggu District Health Commission yesterday, the large-scale vaccination of the new crown vaccine in Pinggu District began on February 14. According to the principle of “informed, voluntary, and free” vaccination, we actively encourage 18-59 years old who are eligible for vaccination. Vaccination for key populations is expected to be completed within 16 days.

The relevant person in charge of the Miyun District Health Commission introduced that in order to meet the demand for large-scale vaccination, Miyun has set up 20 temporary vaccination sites, and based on the towns and streets, the community village (neighborhood) committee grid clearing model and industry promotion model Come to carry out the vaccination work.

  ■ Tips

The new crown vaccine cannot take away the pressure swab

Earlier this month, the Beijing Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention issued guidelines for the prevention of nucleic acid environmental pollution in COVID-19 vaccination sites.

It requires that after the injection is completed, a special person should be responsible for supervising the recipient to discard the cotton swabs that press the inoculation site in a designated recycling container, and not to take them away from the site.

Wang Guiqiang, director of the Department of Infectious Diseases of Peking University First Hospital, explained in an interview with CCTV that the cotton swab itself is stained with vaccine components, which may cause pollution problems. It needs to be discarded in the designated place of the vaccination area and cannot be taken away.

However, the environmental pollution in the vaccination area is not contagious. These vaccines themselves are inactivated viruses, and the nucleic acid test will be positive. Don't panic.

Wang Guiqiang reminded that the corresponding operations must be carried out in a standardized manner in the area where the vaccine is vaccinated, so as to prevent the vaccine from contaminating the surrounding environment, resulting in a positive nucleic acid test.

This involves the training of medical staff, the standardization of the entire operation process, and the entire medical treatment. A document has been published.
